Freya is a freelance writer and filmmaker currently working on her PhD in digital narrative. Before beginning her PhD she worked in a production company in Sydney as a writer, where she wrote online video content for clients in Australia, England and the US. She also dabbles in “extreme” feats of writing, attempting be the Bear Grylls of the writing world. In 2014 she finished an online project where she wrote a story everyday for a year based on reader’s suggestions (you can read them all here). And in 2013 she wrote live for 24 hours without sleep, at the National Young Writers Festival.
